Inos signs Saipan casino law fix

With dozens of mostly retirees in attendance, Gov. Eloy S. Inos signed at 1:20pm Friday a bill repealing and reenacting the Saipan casino law in its entirety to fix its ambiguities. That’s a day after the Senate passed the House measure. House Bill 18-195, HD 1 is now Public Law 18-56.

The crowd of retirees and former defined benefit plan members applauded the governor’s signing. They also thanked the lawmakers that pushed for and supported the bill.
