Inos signs Saipan casino law fix
With dozens of mostly retirees in attendance, Gov. Eloy S. Inos signed at 1:20pm Friday a bill repealing and reenacting the Saipan casino law in its entirety to fix its ambiguities. That’s a day after the Senate passed the House measure. House Bill 18-195, HD 1 is now Public Law 18-56.
The crowd of retirees and former defined benefit plan members applauded the governor’s signing. They also thanked the lawmakers that pushed for and supported the bill.

Although you and your ilk managed to silence our petitioned voices in the referendum to cancel the casino law, the people’s voices will be heard in the voting booth in November. At least there, our true voice will be heard.
Beware of the counting of numbers in your group….there are many among you who do not support casinos but still need our jobs.
Payback for the disgrace of our people will come by ballot.
Casino law “fix”. I guess the headline is appropriate. The whole scam with BS was a fix.
Much of this spiel about Republicans (Covenant) “sweeping the elections” is the same bull that was spouted in the past from the same people.
The very same people also that are professing and defending these behind door actions along with misleading and down right false information to our Manamko and the rest of the retirees about no wrong doing and the proposed payout from this Casino deal. This Casino scam involves most of the same ones that professed the “righteousness of the earthly father” and his minions through out his reign of terror for so many years. (lest people forget)
Inos was involved in this but turned a deaf ear and in public along with his claim to non knowledge of any wrong doings then, but now he is mirroring the almost same disregard for law and openness.
What happened in the end with Fitial? He left with his tail between his legs in the middle of the night with following criminal indictments.
His main accomplice also had to have an illegal police escort to get off island amid attempts to be served with a criminal summons. The rest involved in these illegal actions have since been arrested and awaiting trial.
All know what the present situation in all of this is.
Now we have the same followers loudly again professing the same righteousness and victory in the polls come this Nov.
Seems the worst the questionable activities the loader they cry out.
Then when all comes falling down they also run and hide until another illegal opportunity arises.
