Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC joined the Commonwealth on Saturday in the worldwide effort to fight ocean pollution with the International Coastal Cleanup.
Imperial Pacific through its Corporate Social Responsibility office and several company officials and employees, joined in the islandwide cleanup, and collected close to 600 lbs of trash at the daylong event.
Since 2016, the CNMI has removed over 7,000 lbs of trash, covered 138 miles, and documented 51,519 items of trash in Ocean Conservancy’s global ocean trash database. Imperial Pacific International has become an active participating company. (PR)
