Islandwide water outage on Tinian

There will be a scheduled water service interruption tomorrow, Feb. 24, 2018, from 8am to 2pm for the entire island of Tinian.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. will replace a non-working 8-inch gate valve, which will isolate the old water tank from the newly constructed half-million gallon tank. As a result of the replacement, CUC will be able to supply extra volume of water to the island.

This project is funded by the Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs through the CNMI CIP office and the Mayor of Tinian’s Office.
