Japan group films music video in Marianas

One of Japan’s up-and-coming girl groups, Sky Syllabus, recently filmed a music video in the Marianas for their new song TOKIMEKI White Splash, which has been selected as the theme song of Chiba TV for this year’s Japan National High School Baseball Championship.
The group’s filming was part of a media familiarization tour supported in part by the Marianas Visitors Authority on June 21-23, 2023. The group also filmed a second video featuring hotels, beaches, restaurants, and leisure activities in Saipan.
MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion said the CNMI expects to receive nearly $75,000 in ad exposure value through the videos produced.
The group also filmed at Mariana Seaside Circuit, Grandvrio Resort Saipan, Seawind Marine Sports, the Saipan iconic sign, Surf Club, Mariana Lighthouse, Kingfisher Golf Links, Suicide Cliff, Ladder Beach, Micro Beach, Chalan Kanoa, and Managaha. (PR)
