JEM Company/Mobil caging opens next month
A new competition dubbed as JEM Company Ltd./Mobil Customer Appreciation Basketball League will kick off next month at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium.
The new league will open on Dec. 17 with 14 teams vying for the championship. Coca-Cola/Subway leads the list of participating squads and will be joined by Commonwealth Utilities Corp., COAG Service Station, Docomo Pacific, GPPC, Joeten, KB Construction, Mariana Resort, McDonald’s Saipan, TanHoldings, Top Development, Inc., Triple J, Westco, and RNV Construction/Best Deal.
Games will be played three times a week or every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There will be two matches per playing day with the first one starting at 6:30pm and the second at 8pm. The organizers will provide complimentary uniforms to the 12 players of each team. Only employees of the participating squads are allowed to play and the league is exclusive for Mobil fleet card and wholesale fuels customers. (PR)
