JP Hero Run postponed
Following Gov. Ralph DLG Torres’ public health emergency declaration and with the latest guidance from the Commonwealth Health Care Corp., the Tan Siu Lin Foundation will postpone, until further notice, the JP Hero Run, originally scheduled for March 28.
“It saddens us to announce the run’s postponement, but we all have do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The JP Hero Run is important to us, but in this difficult situation, our highest priority is the health and safety of our team, volunteers, participants and the community,” TSLF executive director Merlie Tolentino said.
With a new date for the event still uncertain given the current global crisis, the TSL Foundation, the philanthropic arm of TanHoldings, will issue refunds to registered participants.
“We are monitoring the situation closely and will set a new date for the JP Hero Run when it is safe to do so. We thank our team, volunteers, partners, and participants for their continued support. We hope to see everyone again later in the year in good spirits and in good health. For now, we encourage everyone to stay at home and follow safety measures set by our government,” organizer and TanHoldings community relations director Carline Sablan said.
JP Hero Run updates will be released later through email, media outlets, and TSLF’s social media pages. For any questions, call 234-0561, extension 100. (PR)
