Kilili backs Biden
Delegate Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan (Ind-MP) announced yesterday his endorsement of Joe Biden’s candidacy for President of the United States.
In a statement yesterday, Sablan said that no other Democratic Party candidate has made a stronger case than Biden.
“He is the person who can bring our nation together and put aside the name-calling and the racism we have lived with under the current President,” said Sablan.
The CNMI delegate is officially an independent but usually caucuses with Democrats.
Aside from Biden, the other candidate in the Democratic Party race for nomination is Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont. (Saipan Tribune)
