Krishnan is SGA April Ace

Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan F&B director Das Krishnan won the Saipan Golfers Association’s April Àce of the Month Tournament held last May 4 at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort east course.

Krishnan scored a net of 76 after the 13-handicapper shot an 89 gross (45-44). He actually finished tied with Frances Sablan, but edged the lady golfer via scorecard playoff. Sablan settled for second and Steve Balakrishna came in third with a net score of 77.

In the closest to the pin competition, Balakrishna won hole No. 6 and Larry Deleon Guerrero took hole No. 15.

In the longest drives, Balakrishna was once again without peer in hole No. 5 and Sablan broke through in hole No. 10
The SGA 2014 May Ace of the Month Tournament is scheduled for May 25 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.  Tee time will be announced later. (Saipan Tribune)
