Landline, DSL outage for IT&E in As Lito and Joeten Dandan
IT&E is notifying its customers who reside or conduct business in the areas of As Lito Road and the Joeten Dandan Housing Area that a cable cabinet—known as a pedestal—has been inadvertently damaged by a contractor during road work in the area. Services that may be affected are landline and DSL.
IT&E crews are currently working on repairing the damaged pedestal, which houses the cables to subscriber homes. A second notification to the public will be released once services have been restored.
IT&E would like to remind all companies, government agencies and residential customers to call 611 at least 24 hours prior to any excavation work, including clearing of debris near IT&E pedestals.
IT&E can assist by sending a team to identify the cable location prior to excavation. (IT&E)
