LDTF offers $1K scholarship to those with special needs
The Lady Diann Torres Foundation is offering a total of $1,000 scholarship award to individuals with special needs.
The deadline to submit the required documents for the LDTF Scholarship Program is now extended to Friday, Aug. 6.
Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be enrolled at NMC for the fall 2021 semester
-Must be a U.S. citizen/U.S. permanent resident or a national of the Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, or Republic of the Marshall Islands
-Must be a CNMI resident for a minimum of three years
-Must have proven disability/disabilities
-Must submit a written essay in response to the prompt: “How can one benefit from obtaining a college degree?” An applicant may submit an audio or voice recording version of the essay if he or she prefers.
The Lady Diann Torres Foundation continues to support individuals with disabilities through the foundation’s scholarship program.
