LED Campaign on Saturday
The Department of Public Works, through the Energy Division Office, will be holding the 2018 Saipan Energy Awareness Light Emitting Diode Campaign on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, from 8am to 11am at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.
Through the Energy, Education, Efficiency and Conservation Program, DPW will be distributing 12 LED light bulbs to each residential household. Items will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies lasts.
This event will demonstrate the increased energy savings by using LED’s, and replacing all incandescent or compact fluorescent lights.
This promotion is only available to residential consumers who must provide most recent utility billing and valid identification. Residents must be present to avail of this promotion. If, for any reason the account holder is unable to make it, he/she must provide an authorization letter to the one they authorized to avail of this promotion. The authorized individual cannot be a person who is also receiving LED lamps for themselves. Residents whose landlord is on a utility billing must also provide a copy of the lease agreement.
