MAHAL to host free health screening on Sunday

In appreciation of unending support of the community and its people, the Marianas Advocates for Humanitarian Affairs, Ltd (M.A.H.A.L) will be hosting its Community Health and Wellness Program for the last quarter of 2014, on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Filcom Pavillion in Susupe (right beside the basketball court), from 7:30am to 12pm.

This program is being held in collaboration with Dr. Jean Grant and team, Nurses Association and volunteers, Hardt Eye Clinic, St. Paul Espiscopal Church, NUTESE, and individual advocates.

Avail of these services for free: Consultation and referral for adults and children; hypertension check; diabetes screening; eye checkup and education on diabetes; flu vaccine; Pap smear; and mammogram.

Please do not eat a heavy breakfast. We’ll prepare hot soup for everyone after the health screening and hot lunch for the first 100 persons thereafter. (MAHAL)
