The 2018 Micro Games Organizing Committee has announced their partnership with Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia), Inc. and Foremost Foods, Inc. as the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage sponsor of the quadrennial event that will take place in Yap from July 15 to 27.

“We are very excited about the sponsorship of Coca-Cola and Foremost,” said Liyon Sulog, CEO of the 2018 Micronesian Games. “Coca-Cola has been a worldwide partner of the International Olympics for many years and, as such, its prominent presence in Yap will recognize the Micro Games as a leading regional sporting event.”

Coca-Cola and Foremost CEO Marcos W. Fong emphasized the commitment of the companies to the Micronesian islands.

“Our investment in the Micro Games underscores our commitment to Micronesia and the spirit of the Games’ goal of ‘developing sport for the benefit of the people, the nations and the territories of the Micronesian community.’ In addition to Coca-Cola being the official beverage partner, we are pleased to provide Powerade as the official sports drink and Foremost Quench as the official water of the 2018 Micro Games,” Fong said.
