NAVFAC: Aug. 15 deadline for comments
PEARL HARBOR—Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific reminds the community of the Friday, Aug. 15, deadline (Chamorro Standard Time) to submit public comments for Programmatic Agreement Memo No. 2 which includes the determination of effect and the Department of Defense plan for resolution associated with Military Construction Project P-230: Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Shop, GSE Holding Shed, Aviation Armament Shop and AV Life Support Systems Shop.
The project involves construction of a one-story high-bay composite facility within the bounds of North Ramp at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Although not specific to North Ramp itself, the traditional place name of the general area around it is Upi. There will be four separate components of the facility: GSE maintenance shop, GSE holding shed, AV armament shop and AV life support systems shop.
