NMC hosts free info session tonight

Individuals interested in furthering their education and advancing their professional careers are encouraged to attend the free information session hosted by the Northern Marianas College tonight, Dec. 14, 2015.

The information session, which is open to all prospective students and community members, will be from 6pm to 7pm in Room D-1 at the college’s As Terlaje campus. The topics include the college’s new bachelor’s degree in Business Management, the Prior Learning Assessment program, and other new initiatives.

College faculty, staff, and students from the different degree and certificate programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions will also be on hand to provide helpful information and answer questions.

The deadline for submitting admission applications for the spring 2016 semester is on Jan. 4, 2016. The first day of classes is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2016. Other relevant spring 2016 dates have been posted to www.marianas.edu.

NMC offers several degree programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (concentration areas: elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (new); associate degrees in business administration (emphasis on accounting, business management, or computer applications), liberal arts, nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management.
