NMC to host info session on June 14
Individuals who are interested in furthering their education are encouraged to attend the Northern Marianas College’s free information session on Thursday, June 14, 2018. The event will cover information on the admissions application process, financial aid, class registration, and academic programs and services.
The info session will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC’s Cafe Proa at the college’s As Terlaje campus. Cafe Proa is located near the NMC Bookstore.
Attendees of the information session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming fall 2018 semester, a savings of about $75. The first day of classes will be on Aug. 20, 2018, but interested applicants are encouraged to apply early to register for courses and for financial aid.
The college offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associates of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
