Graduating high school seniors and their parents are invited to attend Northern Marianas College’s “Start Smart” event, which will be held online though Zoom on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 1pm, Chamorro Standard Time.

The annual Start Smart event aims to provide graduating students an opportunity to learn more about college life, NMC’s admissions process, and accessing financial aid for college. Students will also hear about exploring military career options. The college has partnered with the University of Guam to offer the SROTC program, which allows students to become commissioned Army officers upon graduation.

“This is a great opportunity for students to learn and ask questions about any part of applying for college or what college life is like,” NMC interim president Frankie Eliptico said.  “Families can also ask questions about how they can fund a college education through the different financial aid options that are available to CNMI residents.”

Students who are interested in attending the start smart event can register by going to bit.ly/3cgx5ky. (PR)
