Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Middle School is inviting its students and parents to attend its back-to-school orientation on Aug. 30. The orientation will be at 5pm at the Saipan Southern High School.

According to Hopwood principal Dr. Rizalina Liwag, the orientation will focus on the upcoming school year and what the middle school will be doing in light of the school year.

Liwag said that Hopwood Middle School will begin posting the homeroom assignments of students tomorrow. “We are doing this in order to provide accessibility for the students before classes begin and they can get situated,” she said.

This move will also provide ease for students intending to see their homeroom assignments beforehand, and this move was made to avoid any delays of students seeking their homerooms. Liwag said the homeroom assignments will be posted early to ensure that students know one week in advance of classes beginning.

“The homeroom teachers will be distributing the class schedules to students on the first day of instruction,” she said.

Liwag also confirmed that Hopwood Middle School will be going on full-day sessions, from 8:25am to 3pm.
