PDM collects 1,020 lbs

PDM Promoters Inc. collected 1,020 lbs of garbage during their monthly cleanup of the tourist hotspot of Paseo de Marianas last Saturday, Feb. 6.
Group coordinator Sonia Siwa said the Saturday cleanup was in preparation for the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration set yesterday.
Aside from collecting trash, PDM Promoters also did some bush cutting at Paseo de Marianas and Coral Tree Avenue.
Volunteers during the January cleanup included nine staff from Kinpachi Restaurant and
21 members of the Saipan Awaodori team.
PDM is a non-profit group that cleans up and beautifies the Garapan tourist district.
