Power interruption on Jan. 27

There will be a scheduled power interruption on Saipan on Jan. 27, 2018, from 7:30am to 12pm to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to replace three wooden power poles with concrete poles along Chalan Tun Thomas P. Sablan in San Antonio.

This is part of an ongoing Hazard Mitigation Project that involves replacing 787 wooden poles with concrete poles.

Areas to be affected include Kiya 2 (2″ Partial): Chalan Tun Thomas P. Sablan in San Antonio (Lililok Pl., Alu Dr., and Bua Ln.) and Afetna Road. No water well will be affected but the A-3 wastewater lifts station will be affected.
