Power interruption on Thursday on Dandan Rd.
There will be a scheduled power interruption on Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 9am to 12pm.
The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to safely continue change wooden power poles to concrete along Dandan Road. This is part of CUC’s ongoing program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the distribution circuit.
Areas to be affected are Dandan Road (along Flame Tree Road, MARFEGA Building, Lower Dandan Homestead). No water wells will be affected.
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, travelers are encouraged to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
