Power outage in Garapan on Saturday

There will be a scheduled power service interruption on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5am to 9am from the Kristo Rai Church and Upper MIHA, to the Best Sunshine casino site and the northern side of Chinatown.

This will enable linemen of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to replace the wooden primary pole near the HANMI Hardware on Middle Road with a concrete pole. In addition, CUC linemen will need to phase Feeder 3/Kiya 3 airbrake tie switch by rearranging the Feeder 1 primary conductors. Because of the scale of work that will be done, CUC asks travelers to take alternative routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
