Power outage on Friday
There will be a scheduled power interruption on Friday. April 26, 2019, from 6am to 2pm.
– Outage type: Sectionalized lateral outage on the Feeder 4 distribution circuit
– Village location: Lower Base
– Power Service area(s) affected: Manglen Way and Lower Base Road
– Water well(s) affected: None
– Wastewater lift station(s) affected: None
– Work to be performed: Replace three (3) wooden poles with concrete poles
The purpose of the scheduled power interruption is to de-energize utility lines and allow power line workers from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s contracting company, Primary Source Electric, the ability to safely replace three wooden poles with concrete ones in Lower Base.
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
