Power outage on Oct. 6

There will be a scheduled power interruption on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, from 9am to 1pm in portions of Lower Base and Puerto Rico. This will allow linemen of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely replace rusted power pole hardware on 15 primary poles along Industrial Drive in Puerto Rico.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.

Service area(s) affected include the CPA Seaport, DPS Boating Safety, Shell & Mobil Transfer Stations, Division of Customs (Seaport), Saipan Shipping Co., Inc., U.S. Army Reserve, and the Division of Fish & Wildlife. The S-1 and S-3 wastewater lift stations will be affected.
