Power outage tomorrow
There will be a scheduled power interruption tomorrow, May 18, from 3:30pm to 6pm.
The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to safely replace a wooden power pole with concrete poles in front of the former Chalan Kanoa Joeten store. This is part of an ongoing hazard mitigation program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the power distribution system throughout Saipan.
Areas to be affected include Chalan Kanoa (intersection of Texas Road and Chalan Tun Joaquin Doi, Segundo St., Chalan Kanoa Dr., Gregorio Ave, Isidro Ave., Hilarion St).
