QQ caging meeting today

Organizers of the 2013 QQ Rent A Car Basketball League is calling all representatives of interested teams to attend a meeting today at 6:30pm at Shirley’s Coffee Shop in Susupe.

The opening date, league rules, and other details of the competition will be discussed at the meeting, according to commissioner Boy Garcia.

The QQ caging is an open league and so far seven teams have expressed an interest in joining the competition. Garcia said they are looking to have as much as 10 teams. Entry fee is $500.

Cash prizes await the Top 2 finishers in the league with the champion taking home $1,000 and the runner-up getting $500.
