Ragin’ Rumble erupts tomorrow

Sixteen bouts will be staged tomorrow at the Rites of Passage 24: Ragin’ Rumble at the Marianas Business Plaza parking lot in Susupe.
Three Saipan versus Guam duels will highlight ROP 24, while two boxing matches, three kickboxing, and eight MMA events will spice up the fight night that starts at 8pm.
In the first Saipan vs Guam MMA tiff, Trench Tech’s Mark “The Dark” Nuique will take on Vida BJJ Guam’s Pete Benavente. Another Vida BJJ Guam bet, Zach Benavente, will see action on the octagon cage as he challenges Trench Tech’s Vince “The Clinch” Masga. For the third Saipan vs Guam offering, Trench Tech’s Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez will square off against Steel Athletics’ Jeff Mesa in a K1 bout with special rules.
Meanwhile, the return of boxing matches in ROP 24 will have Mesa’s stablemate Steve Kassala battling Trench Tech’s Wildon “The Beast” Camacho. Another Steel Athletics fighter will be engage in a fistfight against Team Rage’s Nate Nogis.
Following two boxing bouts, Trench Tech’s Jessme “Don’t Test Me” Jones and Steel Athletics’ Jaid Shenttele will open the kickboxing triple-header of the night. For the second kickboxing duel, it will be JungleMMA’s Manny “The Kid” Camacho versus Trench Tech’s Ko “PakPak” Palacios, while Guam Muay Thai’s Eric “Young ASAP” Lacambra and Trench Tech’s Andres “The Tanapag Beach Bad Boy” Camacho will collide in the third match.
In the MMA events, Down2Scrap’s Jadrien “Hell Boy” Camacho and Guam’s Austin Gaspay will step on the eight sides first. The rest of the pairings are as follows: Austin Indalecio vs Kentu Anua; Travis Camacho vs Justin Cangco; Robert Smith vs Bradlee Manalo; Austin Petros vs Jonathan Camacho; Jerome Fujihira vs Jones Langu; Cavin Castro vs Fradley Jepen; and Pejo Camacho vs Vince Torres.
All fight cards are tentative and in case of changes, ROP 24 has three standby fighters in Juan “Hot Pocket” Lizama, Junar Jesus, and Darren Taitano. Weigh-in will be held today at 5pm at Salty’s.
