Red Cross Gala is postponed to April 23
Due to a significant surge in COVID-19 cases in the CNMI, the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter is postponing its upcoming gala fundraising dinner. “Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our volunteers, donors and [Red Cross] Gala guests is our top priority,” said Mable Glenn, NMI Chapter board chair. “While the future is unknown, the NMI Gala Committee has decided, based on COVID taskforce data, that a delay in the gala will help reduce the possible exposure to COVID.”
The new Red Cross Gala date is Saturday, April 23, at Kensington Hotel Saipan. The Red Cross is grateful for the community’s support and apologizes for the delay.
