“We initiated a fundraising drive for the victims of Soudelor. For every dollar our customers donated toward the relief effort, DIAL Rent-to-Own matched it. We are in this together,” said Daniel Singh, chief executive officer of DIAL Rent-to-Own.
“It’s our mission to assist those in need and we can’t accomplish our mission without the support of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors,” said John Hirsh, executive director of the Red Cross Northern Mariana Islands Chapter.
To date, the American Red Cross has assisted over 12,000 people in the CNMI, providing close to a million dollars in direct financial assistance, and over 1.2 million dollars’ worth of food, water, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items. In addition, the Red Cross has provided nearly 32,000 meals and snacks. (ARC)
