Register for NMC spring semester at info session
Northern Marianas College is inviting individuals who are interested in furthering their education or advancing their professional careers to attend its information session scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019.
The information session is open to all prospective students and community members. The session, which will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the NMC Olympio T. Borja Library at the college’s As Terlaje campus, will also allow participants to register for classes immediately after the event.
The topics that will be discussed include the college’s degree programs, Prior Learning Assessment program, financial aid, and other initiatives.
Participants will also qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming spring 2019 semester, a savings of about $75.
NMC faculty, staff, and students from the different degree programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions, will be on hand to answer questions.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
