Register for NMC’s spring semester
Northern Marianas College is reminding all individuals interested in furthering their education that they still have until Saturday, March 23, 2019, to register for the upcoming spring semester.
Registration for ongoing and new students via Proa Portal: Ongoing until March 23, 2019
First day of classes: April 1, 2019
NMC will be also having a free information session on Thursday, March 21, 2019, which is open to all prospective students and interested community members. Those who would like to apply for admission or register for classes can attend the info session.
The information session will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the college’s Olympio T. Borja Library at the As Terlaje campus.
In addition to the admission process, the information session will cover financial aid options that are available for the spring 2019 semester. This will include the Federal Financial Aid program which uses the FAFSA.
The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program’s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.
Attendees of the information session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC’s upcoming spring 2019 semester, a savings of about $75.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
