The Run for Red 5K fundraising event for the American Red Cross NMI-Chapter is set for Saturday, Feb. 11, at the CPA Airport Field. (LEIGH GASES )
Spread the love and support for your loved ones by joining the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter’s Run for the Red 5K fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Commonwealth Ports Authority Airport Field.
The early bird registration fee is $20 until Jan. 21; regular price is $25 until Feb. 5; and late registration is $30 until Feb. 11. All proceeds will go toward the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter.
Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 in the men’s and women’s divisions, above 18 years old, students from 12th grade and below, and the stroller divisions.
Free refreshments will be provided along with a free event long sleeve shirt to the first 300 registrants.

Run Saipan president, Edward Dela Cruz Jr. said, “The American Red Cross [NMI Chapter] wanted to hold a collaborative event together and we accepted. We are beyond excited and ecstatic to say we are helping the American Red Cross NMI Chapter with their first fundraiser event for 2023. All proceeds will be going to the American Red Cross NMI chapter. We thank the American Red Cross for partnering with us as well as for all that they do for the people of the CNMI.”
“Run Saipan would also like to [give a] shout out to the Commonwealth Ports Authority’s executive director Christopher Tenorio and [his] team for being very supportive of the fundraiser by letting us use the airport area as the 5K route for our event! Thank you CPA!” said Dela Cruz.
