Scheduled power outage on Wed.

There will be a scheduled power interruption on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, from 9am to 12pm.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to safely replace a rotted primary power pole along isa Drive in As Teo.

This is part of an ongoing maintenance program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the power distribution system throughout the island.

Areas to be affected include Isa Drive, from the Kagman Mobil gas station to intersection of Chalan Santa Lourdes.

No water well, no traffic light, nor wastewater lift station will be affected.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
