This July, American Memorial Park will host its first ever Soldier Skills program.

Pacific Historic Parks and the National Park Service invite students from ages 8 to 17 to participate in this educational program that allows them to engage in skills needed by soldiers during World War II. Activities include map drawing, navigational skills, decoding, and fun physical training.

The program takes place on July 9-10 and July 15-16. Students between the ages 8 to 12 years are invited to attend from 9am to 11am and those between the ages 13 to 17 years from 2pm to 4pm.

Parents must register their child at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center in advance. American Memorial Park is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Session space is limited so don’t delay.

Be part of this exciting free educational program that encourages youth to spend time outdoors at their national park!
