SIS gives its first Merit Scholarship

Congratulations to Phoenix Gross, the first Merit Scholarship winner at Saipan International School for 2016-17.

Merit scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating excellence in one or more of the following areas—academics, athletics, or achievement.

Gross has proven an outstanding student in all three of these areas. She has won several academic awards in her previous school, is a strong member of multiple sports teams and is a budding young musician. Gross will be joined at SIS by her two sisters, Victoria in grade 7, and Beatrice, who will be joining the school’s new Kindergarten 3-5 program. (PR)
