SNILD hears nomination of Aquino to Municipal Council
The Saipan and Northern Islands Legislative Delegation Committee on Judiciary and Governmental Operations met yesterday afternoon to discuss the nomination of Daniel I. Aquino to serve on the 16th Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council.
SNILD JGO chair Sen. Edith Deleon Guerrero (D-Saipan) presided over the meeting.
When Saipan Tribune left the House’s chamber, Aquino had just finished his testimony.
Aquino talked about, among other things, his many projects at the CNMI Museum where he serves as director since 2017.
Several persons testified to support Aquino’s nomination.
Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang who nominated Aquino, and former governor Benigno R. Fitial, were among the many persons in the gallery.
