Softball tourney promoting addiction recovery tomorrow

Any day is a good day for a softball tournament! As part of the CNMI Drug Court Month, the Drug Court Division is sponsoring a day in the sun for its members and clients, in support of individual-centric treatment and rehabilitation.

At 9am this Saturday, May 15, recovering members of the Drug Court program are putting on a softball tournament as part of Family Fun Day. Participants and their families will gather at the Capitol Hill baseball field to celebrate the ongoing hard work of the DCD, its members, their clients, and the successes for safety and recovery they’ve seen in the community.

This is one of a bevy of promotional events put on by the DCD for Drug Court Month this May, including a KKMP radio show, which was put on earlier this month, and a Walk for Recovery, still to come on May 27. (Cody Race)
