SSHS alumni completes Air Force training
Saipan Southern High School alumni Daryl Jedge “D.J.” Elayda Espinosa has completed his basic training with the U.S Air Force and is currently enrolled at the U.S. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base technical school, where he is taking up Bio Environmental Engineering.
Espinosa, who graduated with the 322nd Squadron in Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas, last December, graduated from SSHS in 2016.
He completed an intensive, eight-week program.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Espinosa is the son of Darius and Grace Joy Espinosa, the brother of Chanel, Nicole Joy, and Jayden Keith Espinosa, and the partner of Donnatella Grace Guzman.
