Stellar Marianas moves teen pageant to next year
Interested contestants for the 2016 Miss Marianas Teen Pageant will have more time to prepare for the pageant as Stellar Marianas announces the competition will be moved from this December to March 2016.
Despite official inquiries and applications, the nonprofit group feels the limited time should be wisely used to support 2015 Miss Marianas Jian Joyner’s participation in the 2015 Miss International Pageant in Tokyo, Japan.
Joyner will depart Saturday, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Delta Air Lines, and will be in Tokyo for two weeks before the international pageant on Nov. 5.
