Sugar Dock closed for safety reasons

The CNMI Homeland Security & Emergency Management, in coordination with the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Public Works, would like to inform the general public, most especially swimmers, beach goers, and boaters, that the outer dock area and 15 feet surrounding the Sugar Dock in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan is closed to the general public.
Recently the outer dock area had collapsed into the surrounding waters. Due to this incident, the remaining area of the outer portion of the dock is unstable and has been deemed unsafe and dangerous. We are urging everyone to stay clear of the area. (PR)
