Suspected ‘ice’ supplier pleads guilty
A suspected supplier of methamphetamine or “ice” in Chalan Kanoa, San Antonio, and Koblerville who was arrested last January pleaded guilty on Tuesday.
Jun Xia, 37, also known as Jun Tragic, pleaded guilty to illegal possession of controlled substance as part of a plea deal.
Superior Court Associate Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio will sentence Xia on Nov. 14, 2017.
Assistant attorney general Chester Hinds said that Xia unlawfully possessed crystal methamphetamine on Saipan on Dec. 8, 2016.
Assistant public defender Nancy Dominski served as Xia’s lawyer.
The CNMI Drug Enforcement Task Force first arrested Xia, a Chinese male, on Jan. 10, 2017, in Susupe for trafficking and illegal possession of “ice.”
Xia, who is staying near Susupe Lake, is also allegedly a fence or receiver for stolen items.
Saipan has one too many Chinese business people who are drug suppliers that are smuggled in from China via undetected goods cargo containers. These corrosive Chinese business people then hires again another China man to peddle these drugs thus making lots of money in a short time frame. The poor suckers are mostly the stupid NMD’s, who ended up robbing stores, private residences, tourists driven fancy mustangs in Marpi just recently. WHAT IS SO BAD ABOUT VETTING ALL CHINESE VISITORS COMING INTO THE NMI BY MEANS OF VISA ISSUANCE?
