SVES, Agape win caroling competition

San Vicente Elementary School, Agape Middle School, and Agape High School were named winners in a recent caroling competition at the Paseo de Marianas in Garapan as part of the annual Christmas in the Marianas celebration.

The caroling competition was composed of different divisions for elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. In all, there were nine elementary schools, four middle schools, and four high schools that competed.

San Vicente Elementary School won first place in the elementary school division. Coming in second was Koblerville Elementary School. Agape Elementary was able to place third, followed by Green Meadow Elementary School in fourth place. Oleai Elementary School was awarded fifth place, Saipan International Elementary won sixth place. Grace Christian Academy came in seventh place, Mt. Carmel Elementary School placed eighth and in ninth place was Kagman Elementary School.

Agape Middle School took home first place in the middle school division, along with Hopwood Jr. Middle School in second place, in third place was Green Meadow Middle School, and in fourth place was Chacha Middle School.

Agape High School placed first in the high school division, Saipan Southern High School came in second place, in third place was Grace Christian Academy and in fourth place was Marianas High School.

The elementary school division contest was held last Nov. 30, 2019, while the middle and high school contest was held on Dec. 7, 2019. The winners were announced last Dec. 14, 2019. There was no immediate information on the prizes they won in the competition.
