SYP to honor some members
A committee of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce called the Saipan Young Professionals will be presenting awards to some of its members during its annual Christmas party on Friday.
The nominees for the Rookie of the Year award are Shayne Villanueva (Roil Soil) and Tania David (Bank of Guam).
The Community Leadership Award nominees are Glen Hunter (The Shack), Nicole Babauta (CNMI SBDC), Emanuel Borja (Hofschneider Engineering), and Shayne Villanueva (Roil Soil).
Its most prestigious award is the SYP of the Year Award and this year’s nominees are Janel Pangelinan (Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc.), and Lester Babauta and Kristal Ann Johnson (CNMI PSS).
The SYP Christmas party, to be held on Dec. 8 from 6pm to 10pm at Kanoa Resort’s Latte Stone Room, will benefit the Toys 4 Tots Program.
