Torres’ statement on Harvey and flooding in Houston
Gov. Ralph DLG Torres issued yesterday the following statement on Hurricane Harvey and the flooding in Houston:
“My thoughts and prayers are with our people in Houston going through the rainfall from Hurricane Harvey. If you have family or friends in Houston or in the area, please check in with them to make sure they are safe. I will continue to monitor the situation and will check in with our folks down there. As Chamorros and Carolinians, our people are resilient and will continue to be strong in the face of any disaster that comes our way. Please keep Houston and the Gulf Coast in your prayers.” (PR)
