Travilla to play for UOG

Former national team player and Mt. Carmel School standout Jan-Nasia Travilla has signed an athletic letter of intent and partial tuition scholarship to play for the University of Guam Lady Tritons in the 2019-2020 season.
Travilla will suit up for both UOG’s women’s basketball and soccer squads.
Before coming to Guam, Travilla was a member of the CNMI national women’s basketball team that played in the 2018 Micronesian Games in Pohnpei. She also attended Northern Marianas College for two two years.
Travilla played for the MCS Lady Knights both in the private and public school leagues and was team captain for three years. She was a high school all-star for four consecutive seasons and an MVP for high school girls basketball for three years.
She was a National Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member.
Travilla played on club basketball teams and was on the team that won the Marianas International Basketball League 3X3 Women’s Championship. She also attended the Pacific Youth Leaders Basketball Camp in Australia. (PR)
