United Airlines cancels flight for Japan

GUAM—Due to expected inclement weather in Japan from Super Typhoon Hagibis, United Airlines has cancelled all flights to/from Japan on Saturday, Oct. 12. United is also expecting additional flight cancellations and schedule changes for flights departing from and arriving at all airports in Japan on Sunday, Oct. 13. These flight schedule changes may also affect flights departing from and arriving at the A. B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam.

United has issued a travel waiver for customers traveling through the following airports between Oct. 10 and Oct. 13, 2019:

• Fukuoka, Japan (FUK)
• Nagoya, Japan (NGO)
• Osaka, Japan (KIX)
• Tokyo-Narita, Japan (NRT)
• Tokyo-Haneda, Japan (HND)

Due to the unpredictability of the storm’s path, United urges our customers to check the latest status of their flights at united.com or by calling United Reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 (1-800-864-8331). (PR)
