Upcoming CNMI government holidays

This year, Citizenship Day, which falls on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, will be observed on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.

Moreover, Veterans Day, which falls on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, will be observed on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017.

Pursuant to CNMI law, 1 CMC Section 313, if a legal holiday falls on a Saturday, it shall be celebrated on the preceding Friday.

Schools and government offices will be closed on both these days.

Gov. Ralph DLG Torres has asked all department and activity heads to ensure that essential public services will not be disrupted. (PR)
