Water outage in As Lito, Fina Sisu, As Perdido, and parts of Koblerville

There will be a temporary water service interruption tomorrow, Jan. 5, 2017, from 8am to 5pm. The purpose of the interruption is to install a new fire hydrant by the Nutrition Assistance Program building in As Lito.

Affected areas are the villages alongside Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road in As Lito, Fina Sisu, As Perdido, and portions of Koblerville. Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in the affected areas should expect water services to be restored soon after 5pm.

Due to the location of the repair, motorists are advised to take alternative routes and proceed with caution for the safety of CUC’s men and women at the jobsite.

This project is funded by the Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs through the Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and CUC.
