Water outage in parts of Saipan

There is currently an emergency water service interruption in the Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road, Airport Road, As Lito, and portions of Koblerville and As Perdido areas.

The cause of the interruption is due to a failed 30-horsepower motor at the Isley booster station No. 2. Water operations personnel of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. are currently making the necessary repairs , expected to be completed last night. Although the repairs will be complete the water tanks will still need ample time to refill. Customers are advised to conserve water due to limited water supply.
