Water service interruptions on May 25 and 26
The faucet in the bathroom with running water. Man keeps turning off the water to save water energy and protect the environment.
There will be scheduled water service interruptions on the following dates and times:
■ Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 8:30am to 4:30pm
■ Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 8:30am to 4:30pm
Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in China Town, Upper MIHA, and Sugar King Estate will be affected.
This is intended to allow CUC’s contractor for the China Town Waterline Replacement Project to cut and cap the old ACP waterlines on Sugar King Road and Komiti Avenue. Water service to the affected areas will resume soon after the elimination.
This project is part of the China Town Waterline Replacement Project to provide a more reliable water system to the people of the CNMI. It is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. (PR)
